-- Want to Simplify Your Life? --
"Choosing Simplicity: Real People
Finding Peace and Fulfillment in a
Complex World" (Pierce)
Feeling overwhelmed by your life, your commitments, your stuff? Would you like to discuss ways to simplify your life, while making space and time for greater enjoyment?
"Simple living" means different things to different people. It can include any and all of the following:
- De-cluttering and/or organizing stuff; buying less stuff
- Being a mindful consumer - buying used, local, organic, environmentally friendly, or not buying at all. Limiting exposure to consumer clutter - mail order catalogs, television, malls, magazines and advertising - all temptations to buy more
- Living frugally (below your financial means) in order to travel, retire early, work only part time, or live on one income while raising children
- Eating differently - perhaps organic, vegan, vegetarian, lower on the food chain. Growing your own food or participating in a food co-op.
- Making choices that benefit the environment
- Making mindful personal choices that give you more time, energy, and money for what you value
- Making healthy choices regarding diet, exercise, and health care

Please request a copy of the book from the Canton Public Library
